You will learn how to wirelessly connect your Sony BRAVIA® TV to your Belkin router in this post. Follow the steps below to find out how:
Before connecting your device to the network, make sure you are familiar with your router’s wireless settings. To find out how to examine your wifi configuration.
Step 1:
Turn ON the Sony BRAVIA® TV.
Step 2:
Press the Home button on the remote control.
Step 3:
Select Settings.
Step 4:
Using the up arrow button on your remote, select Network. Then, press Enter.
Step 5:
Select Network Setup then, press Enter again.
Step 6:
Select Set up network connection.
Step 7:
When prompted how you’d like to set up your network, select Auto.
Step 8:
Select Wireless LAN to configure the TV wirelessly then, press Enter.
NOTE: If you have set up your TV wirelessly before, you will automatically be connected to your wireless network.
Step 9:
Select No to scan for available wireless networks.
NOTE: You can also connect via Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) or AirStation One-Touch Secure System™ (AOSS).
Step 10:
Select your wireless network name (SSID) from the list then, press Enter.
Step 11:
When the security type of your wireless network appears, press Enter.
Step 12:
Enter your wireless network’s password in the available field.
NOTE: WPA keys are case-sensitive (abc is different from ABC). WEP keys are hexadecimal (0-9 and a-f) characters and are not case-sensitive.
Step 13:
Once done, press Enter.
Step 14:
Press the right arrow button on the remote to continue.
Step 15:
When the TV is successfully connected to the Internet screen appears, select Quit Network Setup.
Step 16:
You will then be directed back to the Network Menu screen. Scroll down and select Refresh Internet Content.
Step 17:
When the Internet content is ready screen shows, press the Home button again to display the menu.
